Your pets comfort and safety are our primary concerns when you leave your animal in our care. For that reason, we require that all boarding pets be current on contagious disease vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvo, bordatella-dog, and fecal testing). We also require that they be parasite free (fleas, ticks). It’s best to bring their normal diet to help with feeding consistency from home. Some pets love to check in with their favorite blanket or stuffed animal… whatever makes them most comfortable! Island Animal has a large totally fenced in outdoor exercise area for your pet to visit throughout the day. The pet boarding kennel also has its own AC unit, so it’s always cool and comfortable! Some boarders also like to schedule in a bath or nail trim before they go home from boarding or day care.

We welcome pets for boarding that are on chronic medications and insulin injections. Rest easy knowing we have a licensed veterinarian here if needed.
